I received a warm welcome and helpful directions for nearby parking. the room had a luxurious feel and beautiful decorations. i loved the shower. It had loads of hot water.
The reception area doubles as a bar, and there was a queue during check-in. One staff member prioritized making cocktails over checking guests in.

The team was lovely. A complimentary drink was a nice welcome. The hotel appears clean and modern. Location good, many cheap parking spaces nearby existed when the hotel parking filled.
The hotel room was ridiculously hot, around 25°C. I opened a window as the thermostat did not work. Breakfast was horrific. The selection was limited.

Acceptable stay

canal locationcomfortable bedroom temperaturecentral system
The location near the canal was convenient. It made for an easy walk into town (which I did a few times). The bed was large. I found it comfortable.
I had issues with the room temperature. It was too stuffy each day. I was told it is a central system set to heat rooms, and I could not control it.
